APP FOR WOMEN COMING SOON
Better menopause care, for women and healthcare professionals
Meno.pause is a pair of free, NHS-backed apps - one giving women clear, reliable information about menopause, the other giving clinicians step-by-step guidance to manage it with confidence.
The app for women is coming soon - help shape the content and tools in the app by sharing your menopause journey with us.
THE PROBLEM
Menopause care isn’t working the way it should
Up to 13 million women in the UK are menopausal. Over 75% will experience symptoms that significantly affect their quality of life - and effective treatments exist.
Too many women have felt dismissed, confused, and like the information on menopause isn’t written for them - whether they’re navigating menopause with age, earlier than expected in their late 30s, after cancer treatment, surgery, or anything in between.
At the same time, clinicians are often working against real barriers: limited training, conflicting guidance, and concerns about the safety of HRT for complex patients. The result is long waits, unequal care, and women who aren’t getting the support they need.
Two apps. One connected approach to menopause care
Meno.pause (for women)
A free app giving you a trusted, NHS-backed content library and interactive tools - so you can understand your symptoms, prepare for appointments, and know what to ask for and what support you’re entitled to.
WHO IT’S FOR
Meno.pause is for every woman navigating menopause - whether it arrived gradually, suddenly, or as a result of cancer treatment, surgery or other medical reason.
Meno.pause for Healthcare Professionals
A clinical tool supporting healthcare professionals to assess menopause symptoms more effectively, guide conversations. You don’t need to be a menopause specialist - it’s designed to help you make confident, evidence-based decision-making at every level of care.
WHO IT’S FOR
Any healthcare professional involved in the care of menopausal patients including GPs, gynaecologists, oncologists, oncology surgeons, menopause specialists and accredited menopause practitioners.
HOW THEY CONNECT
A clinical tool supporting healthcare professionals to assess menopause symptoms more effectively, guide conversations, and deliver more personalised, evidence-based care - in the time they actually have.
BUILT BY
Clinically led. NHS-backed.
The content and tools behind Meno.pause are developed by the specialist team at University College London NHS Trust, led by Dr Shibani Nicum, Associate Professor in Medical Oncology and Honorary Consultant Oncologist - the same team behind the original Meno.pause app for Healthcare Professionals.
The platform is powered by Clinibee, a health-tech company dedicated to building high-quality clinical tools for healthcare providers and their patients.
Everything we build is shaped by two things: what real women tell us they need, and clinical expertise. No one-size-fits-all advice - content and tools that reflect your actual experience.
